​Hello! I'm Maria Rosana, a dedicated IB-MYP science and chemistry teacher. Currently, I also work as an IB MYP Personal Project Coordinator and in curriculum development. I hold a Ph.D. in chemistry and have a passion for enhancing education through my project management and teaching expertise

As an educator, my philosophy revolves around fostering an inclusive, engaging, and student-centered learning environment. Every student possesses unique strengths and learning styles, and my role is to create a supportive atmosphere that nurtures individual growth.

Teaching
Over the past several years, I have dedicated myself to teaching IB MYP Science and Chemistry to middle and high school students. My primary goal in the classroom is to facilitate student learning through hands-on experimentation and the application of real-life scenarios. By incorporating tangible examples into the curriculum, I strive to enrich student comprehension and foster a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
Project Management
​After completing my undergraduate degree in chemistry, I pursued a Ph.D. and subsequently a postdoctoral fellowship in the same field. This academic journey equipped me with the expertise to effectively manage and execute projects. Currently, I serve as a Personal Project Coordinator, guiding MYP students in achieving their goals through structured project management and personalized support
Curriculum Development
Combining experience in academia and the classroom has been essential in developing my expertise in curriculum development, specializing in designing and implementing comprehensive, engaging programs. Currently, I focus on creating innovative educational initiatives aligned with the IB MYP framework to provide students with a stimulating, well-rounded education. I have also contributed to designing research-based curricula for both MYP and high school environments.
